Baseball Recap: St. John Paul II Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, St. John Paul II Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Benjamin Buccaneers 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Tommy Ciaccio was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

St. John Paul II Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February.
