Softball Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Spring Hill came up short against Bradley, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that Spring Hill has lost by exactly ten runs.

Spring Hill's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Bradley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Spring Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bradley, they will venture away from home to take on Strong at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradley's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Strong's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
