A Region 2 recap September 4, 2013

Lakota/Adams-Edmore/Dakota Prairie was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from eighth to fourth in A Region 2. Lakota/Adams-Edmore/Dakota Prairie beat Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm 40-8 earlier in the week.

Park River/Fordville-Lankin was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Grafton/St. Thomas. The Aggies came in at 11 in the state poll after placing at number 33 last week.

Midway/Minto's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matthew Gonitzke threw for 30 yards and Devin Flanders had 18 yards receiving. On the ground Gonitzke contributed 86 yards.

The Mustangs' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Larimore takes on North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina]. Paul Peterson's team has allowed 7 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 0. The Polar Bears allowed 7 points last week as they topped the Panthers.

Langdon/Munich fell to Turtle Mountain 44-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
