Andrew Smith has reportedly switched his verbal commitment from Cincinnati to Northwestern, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Smith, who is 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, is one of Ohio's top players in the 2011 class. He made a verbal commitment to Northwestern this past weekend when he took an official visit to the Big Ten program.
Smith had been committed to Cincinnati since Dec. 11.
Smith, who is interested in the communications and broadcasting program at Northwestern, was first-team all-Greater Miami Conference last season. He led the GMC with 10 sacks during the regular season and helped the Cardinals to a 10-0 record in the regular season. He also had offers from schools that included Virginia, Stanford, Minnesota and others.
BENSON BROWNE COMMITS TO N.C. STATEWalnut Hills senior tight end
Benson Browne has verbally committed to play at North Carolina State, the Enquirer
reported this morning. Browne, who is 6-foot-6 and 242 pounds, also considered Illinois and Louisville. He also had offers from schools that included Kansas, West Virginia, Minnesota and others. Browne took an official visit to North Carolina State in December. He is ranked among the top 100 players in the state, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
JACOB LINDSEY GOES WITH FCS SCHOOL HARVARDElder senior linebacker
Jacob Lindsey has verbally committed to Harvard, according to the Enquirer. Lindsey, who is 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, was first-team all-Greater Catholic League South division this past season. He had 110 tackles for Elder. He also had offers from Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Kent State. He is ranked among the top 100 players in Ohio, according to ScoutingOhio.com.
