Basketball Recap: DeWitt Comes Up Short

DeWitt was the 69-50 winner over Grosse Pointe North when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The DeWitt Panthers fell 55-44 to the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeWitt's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Grosse Pointe North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeWitt will face off against East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Lansing knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully DeWitt likes a good challenge. As for Grosse Pointe North, they will square off against Cousino at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
