Lodi had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Atwater Falcons by a score of 6-2 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Flames in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Ashlyn Jubrey made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
