Volleyball Recap: Osakis Comes Up Short

Osakis came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Foley Falcons. The Silverstreaks were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2018.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-14.

Foley can attribute much of their success to Gracelynn Zimmer, who had 11 digs.

Osakis moved to 12-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Foley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Osakis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Pequot Lakes on the 24th.
