Basketball Recap: West Nottingham's Losing Streak Snapped at 13 Games

West Nottingham can bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Sunday. They claimed a resounding 78-37 victory over the Life Center Academy Warriors.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joel Kabugi, who posted ten points. Jonathan Levasseur was another key player, putting up eight points.

West Nottingham's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Life Center Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

West Nottingham will host Aquinas Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Life Center Academy, they will square off against Peddie at 6:15 p.m. on February 10th. Life Center Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.
