Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Annawan-Wethersfield). They put the hurt on the Galva Wildcats with a sharp 20-2 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Annawan-Wethersfield and bumps their season record up to 7-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Galva, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Annawan-Wethersfield is set to square off against their familiar foe Bureau Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Galva will face off against rival ROWVA/Williamsfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
