Maplewood came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Chalker Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rockets have posted since September 9th.

Maplewood was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19, 15-6.

Maplewood's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Chalker, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 11-8 record.

Maplewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Newton Falls on the 8th. As for Chalker, after both having extra time off, they and Jackson-Milton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. The Bluejays will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.
