Basketball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-48 loss at the hands of the Suring Eagles. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Suring, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Florence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-59 defeat against Niagara on the 4th. As for Suring, they are taking a road trip to challenge Coleman at 7:15 p.m. on February 11th.
