Volleyball Recap: Maycee Randall Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat North Clay

After losing to North Clay the last time they met, Mt. Carmel decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Aces came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Mt. Carmel got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maycee Randall out in front who had seven kills and two aces. That's the most kills Randall has posted since back in October of 2024.

Mt. Carmel's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Clay, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mt. Carmel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Oblong on the 30th. North Clay has also already played their next contest (against Woodlawn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
