Volleyball Recap: Beaver Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Beaver and Oakland Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Beaver had to settle for second. They fell just short of Oakland Catholic by a score of 3-2. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Kailyn Connelly paced Beaver's offense, picking up 22 kills. Connelly got some help from Kayden Blinn and her 50 assists. Finally, Connelly was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 51-4. As for Oakland Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Beaver does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakland Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pope John Paul II on the 15th.
