Baseball Game Preview: Desert Oasis Diamondbacks vs. Arbor View Aggies

For the second straight game, Desert Oasis will face off against Arbor View. The Diamondbacks will welcome the Aggies at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Desert Oasis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Arbor View, who was ranked sixth at the time (Desert Oasis was ranked ninth). The Diamondbacks came up short against the Aggies on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Diamondbacks were not able to get on the board.

For Arbor View's part, Colton Christman tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Arbor View got a massive performance out of Jase DeSantis, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Those four hits gave DeSantis a new career-high. Landon Blais was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Arbor View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Desert Oasis' defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Arbor View, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
