Basketball Recap: Sequatchie County Comes Up Short

Sequatchie County lost against Cumberland County back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sequatchie County Indians took a 52-37 bruising from the Cumberland County Jets.

Sequatchie County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Cumberland County, they moved to 7-17 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Sequatchie County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-38 victory against Boyd Christian on the 3rd. As for Cumberland County, they will venture away from home to take on DeKalb County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cumberland County is facing DeKalb County at the right time seeing as DeKalb County is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
