Tri-West Hendricks' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Frankfort with a sharp 23-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.
Keira Johnson tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Tri-West Hendricks got a massive performance out of Adelyn Lengerich, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave Lengerich a new career-high. Natalie Tharp was another key player, going 3-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard made easy work of Warren Central on Wednesday and carried off a 17-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
The team relied heavily on Anna Caskey, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Maynard, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Tri-West Hendricks, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Tri-West Hendricks has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. However, it's not like Indianapolis Bishop Chatard struggles in that department as they've averaged .470. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
