Basketball Recap: Drey Tacha Key Part of Team Effort in Badgers Win

Limon's game on Saturday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past the Holyoke Dragons with a 48-44 victory. The win continues a trend for the Badgers in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won five in a row.

Limon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drey Tacha, who posted 11 points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Tacha a new career-high. Brody Scherrer also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Holyoke lost, don't look at Reid Sprague. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. Mason Sprague was another key player, putting up eight points.

Limon now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Holyoke, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
