Football Recap: Sequoyah Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Sequoyah had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Sweetwater Wildcats 65-7. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Coincidentally, Sequoyah and Sweetwater will both be playing Tellico Plains the next time they take the field. The Chiefs will host the Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
