Lake Ridge entered their tilt with Madison on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mavericks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

McKinley Miller paced Lake Ridge's offense, picking up six kills. Miller got some help from Kensli Tyler and her eight assists. Brooklyn Ross controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lake Ridge's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Madison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Lake Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Jordan on the 22nd. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Midland on the 22nd.
