            Piedmont Community Charter had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Ambassador Christian School on Wednesday. Piedmont Community Charter was the clear victor by  a  20-9 margin over Ambassador Christian School. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
  Bailee Roper and  Chloe Rae Baker did most of the damage at the plate:  Roper  went 3-for-5 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles, while  Baker  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  Morgan Loftin also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Piedmont Community Charter is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.8 runs over those games. Ambassador Christian School's defeat was  their sixth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 0-6.
