Basketball Recap: Bolton Central Skates Past Lake Placid with Ease

Bolton Central won the last time they faced Lake Placid and things went their way on Friday too. The Bolton Central Eagles really took it to the Lake Placid Bombers for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-22 win. The Eagles pushed the score to 49-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bombers had no chance of recovering from.

Leading Bolton Central to victory were Jadynn Egloff and Maille Kelley. Egloff posted 20 points, while Kelley had 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ella Hens, who put up six points.

Defeat or not, Lake Placid got some senior leadership from Anisa Cecunjanin and Abbey Light. Cecunjanin earned eight points, while Light posted six points.

The victory made it two in a row for Bolton Central and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Lake Placid, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Bolton Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-40 defeat against Ticonderoga on the 16th. As for Lake Placid, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-27 win against Saranac Lake on the 16th.
