Softball Recap: Sherwood Takes a Loss

Sherwood managed to slip by Wheatland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Marksmen lost 17-2 to the Mules on Tuesday.

Sherwood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalli Gariepy, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Sherwood's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Wheatland, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Sherwood will welcome Lincoln College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wheatland, they will take on Richland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
