Edgewood won the last time they faced Madison East and things went their way on Monday too. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Purgolders with a sharp 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Edgewood's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 25-12.

The win got Edgewood back to even at 4-4. As for Madison East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Edgewood is set to take on their familiar foe Madison La Follette at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Madison East will challenge rival Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
