Recap: JAG Jaguars vs. Dacula Falcons
The JAG Jaguars put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 61-55 win over Dacula. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
JaMicah Adair went supernova for JAG, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 36 points and 3 assists. The match was Adair's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Friendly, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
JAG's win bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Dacula, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-2.
JAG will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Pope John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Pope John Paul II knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matchups -- so hopefully JAG likes a good challenge. Dacula won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Crestview at 3:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Crestview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 249th in Florida, while Dacula is ranked 22nd in Georgia).
