Volleyball Game Preview: University Prep Academy Golden Eagles vs. Summit Shasta Black Bears

University Prep Academy is 0-10 against Summit Shasta since October of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Black Bears at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, University Prep Academy didn't have quite enough to beat More and fell 3-2. While the Golden Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-20 in the first set.

University Prep Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Summit Shasta entered their tilt with Washington on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Summit Shasta never let Washington on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

Summit Shasta's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for University Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
