There's no place like home for Plattsburgh, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 65-52 victory over the Saranac Spartans on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Saranac still got an impressive performance from Carson Duffield, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds. That's the most boards Duffield has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Armaniii Richards, who had ten points.

Plattsburgh's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Saranac, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Plattsburgh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-54 defeat against Moriah on the 12th. As for Saranac, they have also already played their next match, a 45-44 win against Ticonderoga on the 12th.
