Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop McCarthy vs. McArthur

The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks will square off against the McArthur Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Archbishop McCarthy is headed into Wednesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 10. Neither they nor NSU University could gain the upper hand last Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Layla Naser and Jessalyn Schwartz scored both of Archbishop McCarthy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, McArthur rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 4-1 win.

Archbishop McCarthy's draw makes their record 9-4-3 this season. As for McArthur, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12-3.
