After losing to South Dearborn the last time they met, East Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans blew past the Knights 3-0 on Thursday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant East Central was: they took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Elizabeth Hudnall paced East Central's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hudnall got some help from Sadie Creek and her 22 assists. Hudnall was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

East Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Dearborn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
