Baseball Recap: High Point Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for High Point Baptist Academy's offense. They fell just short of the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for High Point Baptist Academy and nudges their season record down to 14-9-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Mount Calvary Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

High Point Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will take on Cowanesque Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
