Volleyball Recap: Chattanooga Christian Comes Up Short

Chattanooga Christian lost against Girls Preparatory School last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers came up short against the Bruisers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-21, 25-6.

Cat Nygaard was the offensive standout of the game as she had 14 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Chattanooga Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Girls Preparatory School, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Knoxville Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Girls Preparatory School, they will head out to take on Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
