Flag Football Game Preview: Gilmer Bobcats vs. Ringgold Tigers

The Gilmer Bobcats will head out on the road to challenge the Ringgold Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Gilmer nor Ringgold posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Gilmer's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Heritage on Monday. The game between the Bobcats and the Generals didn't end well, with the Bobcats falling 14-0. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ringgold came up short against LaFayette on Tuesday and fell 25-12.

Gilmer's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Ringgold, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Gilmer didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ringgold when the teams last played back in October, but they still walked away with an 18-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
