Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tupelo can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the Hernando Tigers on Thursday. The Golden Wave have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Tupelo's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Hernando, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-1.

While Tupelo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
