Baseball Recap: Christian School of York Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Christian School of York had no problem doing just that on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the High Point Baptist Academy Eagles. This was a revenge game for Christian School of York: when they faced off against High Point Baptist Academy last Monday, they had to take a 8-6 defeat.

Bryson Byrd was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Austin Holbritter, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Christian School of York's victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for High Point Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1.

As of now, neither Christian School of York nor High Point Baptist Academy have any future games scheduled.
