Berne Union is 9-1 against Millersport since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Berne Union Rockets will take on the Millersport Lakers at 12:30 p.m. Berne Union will be strutting in after a victory while Millersport will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Berne Union turned things around against Miller on Thursday. They walked away with a 39-29 win over the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Millersport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 78-53 to Fairfield Christian Academy.

Berne Union will need focus on slowing down Alayna Wright, one of several Millersport players who made an impact when they last played. She almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Wright is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie O?Neal, who posted 13 points.

Even though they lost, Millersport smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Berne Union's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Millersport, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Berne Union was dealt a bruising 57-6 defeat at the hands of Millersport in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wright, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 steals. Now that Berne Union knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
