Basketball Recap: 21 Straight Home Victories for Clarksville

Clarksville extended their home winning streak to 21 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Malon Smith. The Clarksville Wildcats took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 68-27 win over the Northeast Eagles thanks in part to Smith, who went 8 of 14 en route to 26 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. The matchup was her 12th in a row with at least ten points.

Shakiah Vance was another key player, going 7 for 17 on her way to 15 points and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Clarksville's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Northeast, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Clarksville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-39 win against Kirkwood on the 28th. Northeast has also already played their next match, a 54-29 loss against Rossview on the 28th.
