Football Recap: Ripon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ripon entered their game against Ripon Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians took a 35-21 bruising from the Knights. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 30-6 to the Knights when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Ripon still got an impressive performance from Andrew Shaw, who rushed for 105 yards, and also threw for 108 yards and one touchdown.

It was another big night for Mason Tameling, who threw for 278 yards and three TDs while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and a pair of scores for Ripon Christian. That's the most passing touchdowns Tameling has posted since back in November of 2024. Ripon Christian's leading receiver Daniel Lambdin was Tameling's top target yet again, picking up 119 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ripon Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
