Softball Recap: Strasburg-Franklin Tigers vs. East Canton Hornets
Strasburg-Franklin won the last time they faced East Canton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 16-3 win. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Miley Reifenschneider made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Reifenschneider was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Strasburg-Franklin let Rayelle Watkins and Ella Gilkerson run wild. Watkins went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Gilkerson got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
