With a playoff win on the line, Grapevine Faith Christian rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Regents Knights 8-1. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Regents from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Braden Cope led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Grapevine Faith Christian, bringing their record for this year to 15-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Regents, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

As of now, neither Grapevine Faith Christian nor Regents have any future games scheduled.
