Basketball Recap: Calaveras Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Calaveras saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 55-46 to the Cordova Lancers. The matchup marked the Red Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Calaveras lost, don't look at Connor Fuller. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-16 en route to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Thanks to that strong game, Fuller now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. Aaron Koepp was another key player, shooting 47% from the field on his way to 21 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Calaveras and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Cordova, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Calaveras won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Waterford at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cordova, they and Humphreys Able Charter will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
