Volleyball Recap: Resurrection Christian Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Resurrection Christian and Eaton squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Resurrection Christian had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Reds. The Cougars have struggled against the Reds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Kaylynn Pardue paced Resurrection Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pardue got some help from Kylee Mayes and her 41 assists. Finally, Pardue was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Hayden Logan, who had seven digs and two aces.

Resurrection Christian's loss dropped their record down to 26-4. As for Eaton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.

Resurrection Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eaton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Alamosa on the 15th.
