Volleyball Recap: Ceres Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ceres was the 3-0 winner over Beyer when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ceres actually scored more points across those five sets (107-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 13-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-13.

Ceres now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Beyer, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ceres will square off against rival Central Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beyer is set to challenge their familiar foe Lathrop at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
