Baseball Recap: Ka'u Takes a Loss

Ka'u is still winless after their game against Hawaii Prep on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ka Makani. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Ka Makani this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Ka'u's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hawaii Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Ka'u does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hawaii Prep, they have already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Honoka'a on the 15th.
