Divine Child faced Huron in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Dallas Terski was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Divine Child was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Divine Child is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Huron, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 18-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Divine Child will square off against Richard at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.11 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Huron, they will take on Taylor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
