Soccer Recap: Newport Comes Up Short

Newport lost against North Marion back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cubs lost 6-1 to the Huskies. Newport have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Newport's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for North Marion, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Newport wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Sweet Home on the 16th. As for North Marion, they have also already played their next match, a 4-2 victory against Cascade on the 16th.
