Soccer Recap: Roma Takes a Loss

Roma was the 2-1 winner over Mission when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Roma Gladiators came up short against the Mission Eagles on Friday, falling 3-0.

Roma now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mission, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roma will welcome Martin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roma's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Mission, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cigarroa at 8:00 p.m. on February 11th.
