Bayport-Blue Point is 8-2 against Center Moriches since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Phantoms will square off against the Red Devils at 4:30  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bayport-Blue Point comes in on 18 and Center Moriches on four.
Bayport-Blue Point's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They blew past John Glenn 16-0. The Phantoms might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Brady Gelling was a standout: he got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Guytano Kiesel also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
 Bayport-Blue Point  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  games.
Meanwhile, Center Moriches made easy work of Southampton  on Friday and carried off  a  15-1 win. The Red Devils are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout  was the sixth  match they've won by 6+  runs  this season.
 Jack Passaro spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on four hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate, Center Moriches got a  massive  performance out of  Christian Meadows, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.  Max Rayburn was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Center Moriches pushed their record up to 12-2 with the  victory, which was their 12th straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Bayport-Blue Point, their record is now 14-0.
 Bayport-Blue Point came out on top in a nail-biter against Center Moriches when the teams last played  on April 2nd, sneaking past  1-0. Will the Phantoms repeat their success,  or do  the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
