Marquette lost to Parkway West back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Mustangs won by a goal and slipped past the Longhorns 3-2. That's two games straight that Marquette have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Marquette and bumps their season record up to 6-9. As for Parkway West, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquette will host Fort Zumwalt West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkway West, they will face off against Ladue Horton Watkins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
