Volleyball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Loss

Bartlett saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paragould Rams. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-19.

Hailey Brown paced Bartlett's offense, picking up four kills. Brown were helped by Emerson Berkes and Ella Shellenbarger, who contributed five assists each. Lucy Ford controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Paragould, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.

Bartlett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against St. George's on the 9th. As for Paragould, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hutchison on the 6th.
