Volleyball Recap: Oscar Smith Takes a Loss

Oscar Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chelsea Academy Knights.

Chelsea Academy found their leader in sophomore Malta Klassen, who had 22 assists and three aces.

Oscar Smith's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chelsea Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Oscar Smith has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Menchville on the 13th. As for Chelsea Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against StoneBridge on the 13th.
