Basketball Game Preview: Line Mountain Eagles vs. Muncy Indians

The Line Mountain Eagles will head out to square off against the Muncy Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Line Mountain is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Montgomery: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Line Mountain blew Montgomery out of the water with a 61-11 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 44 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Muncy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mountaineers, posting a 51-21 win.

The victory got Line Mountain back to even at 10-10. As for Muncy, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Line Mountain came up short against Muncy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 50-43. Can Line Mountain avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
